Really great post. It can be very therapeutic for some people to open up about the struggles they have faced and continue to face. Finding balance after an ED can be a lifelong struggle for many people. Posts like this can be very helpful to others out there suffering from some of the same issues. Kim sounds like you are in a good healthy place right now.

Love that Tina Fey quote! Just really puts it in prospective the unrealistic expectations we girls put on ourselves. We say it so often - we are all uniquely beautiful in our own way - but we rarely believe it or live it ourselves. Thanks for sharing Kim! So encouraging to hear other people's journeys.

As someone who has struggled and still struggles to find a healthy relationship with food, I'm SO HAPPY to see a series like this. It helps to understand what others have gone through, to know I'm not alone in these problems, and to know that there are people who have worked through it to find a happier, healthier self.

Thanks.

I already love this series! I always find it so interesting to read about others struggles and experiences with food, diets, stress etc. I don't have an eating disorder (I think!?), eat what I consider healthy, and try not to restrict myself too much of anything. But there are days on which I'm not balanced at all and stress about my food choices and how it may affect my body. It got a lot better already, and do not beat myself up when I really OVERindulged. Reading about how other deal with such situations is very interesting and helpful!
Btw, now I see the new design on the laptop (not just on the phone) and I still like it ;-) the new logo is s pretty! I like the light colours! And the navigation on the phone is really good, too, no bugs so far!

As someone who is 2 years in recovery from bulimia, I can't imagine not have professional help! I'm impressed that Kim was able to face her demons alone. I'm do appreciate her honesty - talking about triggers and good day vs. bad days is something that is difficult to do once you are "recovered".
