Can you be anonymous, or does your identity appear? I would like to help other mothers who have experienced violent sexual crimes against their daughters, having gone through the entire police/legal process personally, but is that something useful do you think? I am not interested in making money but perhaps can give advice on prevention, counseling and moral support. Is that ridiculous or possible, in your expert opinion?

I recently lost my full time job as a writer for a realty publication, which really was a blessing in disguise. I realized that type of job is not for me. So, I told my family member/ financial advisor I wanted to build my blog and eventually write a book. I happened to mention how successful your blog is, and he said: Why don’t you have a meeting with that person?

I knew that would be impossible to do, so what better way to ask you questions about your blog via a comment on a post about your blog! (Did you follow that?) ;p

As someone who just starting blogging, I would love to know what tactics you used when first starting out to grow your audience. I’m still extremely early in the process and working out technical difficulties, but it still seems difficult to get the ball rolling with regular readers.

Also, as a side note, I really love reading your blog. There are few I follow as closely as yours, but I love your authenticity and vision!

I love to hear how other bloggers (especially ones like you!) feel about the topic, as I know it can be tricky. I would love to know your story, and how you came to do blogging full time. I am guessing it’s from following your heart, and doing what you love, but it’s always nice to hear.

I always struggle with that too, being a ‘lifestyle’ blogger, as I really just write about what is influencing me at the moment rather than focusing on something specific like travel, or fashion. It makes me nervous that not having a niche would hurt readership, but I know it’s what I feel.

Would love to hear more about this! The event in Seattle looked fun 🙂
