Great post 🙂 I am also from a sunny place – California. For the last 5 years, I have been living in Germany and playing professional soccer. I cannot lie – the weather is literally making me sick. I have hypothyroidism and am constantly looking/needing for natural energy sources (e.g. food, salt lamps, light therapy, etc.). Do you have any tips besides positive thinking for being happy during the winter months?

You seem to like cold weather because you get free clothes from Eddie Bauer. I just checked out your blog and it just seems that it’s just free advertising for whoever gives you things. You aren’t living an authentic life at all. Just a huge fraud.

Yes, Eddie Bauer is the best!!! I just went on a fab trip to Big Sur decked out in Eddie Bauer — they are my fav. Ahh, I think you’ll love what I posted today if you are interested in heading to Big Sur around the holidays… Would love to answer any q’s about it for you!!! Haha! I also happen to like freaking love Eddie Bauer so I was stocked to see you talking about them. Where I live I don’t get to experience a white Christmas too often, so I would love to go somewhere like Big Sur, Big Bear, etc to feel like it’s really December and fulfill my winter wonderland dreams.

While I’m usually found on the beach during the summer, this is a great time of year to shake up the usual routine and hike our local mountains/head inland. I have always written about companies that inspire me, and to get sponsored by a company as reputable and inspiring as Eddie Bauer is pretty much a dream come true for me and for this blog.
