This is such a wonderful post for de-cluttering space and cleansing your life! People often underestimate the impact of creating space. It is actually a mental disorder if one becomes too attached to their belongings, hence they hoard everything in their house even though they cannot find a concrete use for each object they store. I think that your experience with Katherine is so enlightening. I totally agree that you have to surround yourself with people, culture and things that help you GROW rather than stagnate you or put you down. Eliminating physical clutter will definitely make way for creating more physical, mental, emotional and spiritual space!

Yay, I am so glad that this post inspired you to get your spring cleaning on... I am totally with you- I hold onto things forever, but it feels SO good to start letting go of things I've held onto for so many years. It really does alleviate so much extra weight on your heart/soul. Love it!! Xo

Perfect topic for spring cleaning but I'll admit I have never really done spring cleaning aka I hold onto things forever and I am only 25 too. Since I have moved twoce in the past 2 years I have gotten better but I do have a closet full of boxes I never open of stuff from home that I never sorted...this post is inspiring me to take a look at those boxes and perhaps part with the items I never look at. I hold onto old dolls with hopes of giving them to my future children but since that is a few years away and I plan to move again soon, I think I will need to downsize the collection a bit. I have definitely experienced the magic in getting rid of things. I feel less weighted down. Thanks for the inspiration for me to get some cleaning done.
