Great tip!!! It was super rainy in Princeville, which I didn’t mention much. I just kept going inside during the rain or sticking it out under an umbrella until it passed, hehe. Would love to check out Kapaa more next time I am there!! XO

I’ve been to the island 3 times around December/January. Love the island (I’ve been to all Hawaiian islands except Maui.. but I’ll be going there next Feb!) I would actually recommend not staying up north in Princeville/Hanalei area. It rains ALOT. Of course it’s still crazy humid and warm, but if you’re looking for a sunny beach vacation don’t expect it. We’ve always stayed in Kapaa (east) and it’s a nice balance because you can drive up north to explore (or hit the beach on the rare sunny days) or down south where it’s sunny more often.
