hey jordan! love your blog- and love that you now run! i have been following for awhile and we are very similar (not only in our names!) i have a hard time listening to my body when it comes to following my food cues. can you maybe make a post on how your hunger increases with your training and maybe your favorite pre-post long run meals/snacks? i feel like my hunger is out of control - i am training for a marathon too! (as well as a half, and i teach group fitness throughout the week) what do you do to keep yourself from overthinking your fuel?

keep up the good work with the training, self-reflection, and be proud of the work you are doing because you are extremely inspiring to so many! thanks for being so open, positive, and honest.

Love to hear you are training for another race! I am playing with the idea of running a 10k this fall. I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the last few months and I finally am feeling better, so I am hesitant to push it too hard. Instead of getting too attached to a training plan, I am just going to try running 3 times a week and see how it feels. I totally agree with you that hiking is great cross training!! I just moved to a new area in Vermont and exploring all of these new trails has been so much fun!

You should consider doing an east coast race sometime! Check out the mad river marathon/half marathon for July 2017!
