hi robyn, this doesn’t sound mean. i appreciate your opinion! my blog is a space for positivity, sharing all of the beautiful things in life that set my soul on fire (and hopefully others, as well!). i think it’s clear that posting about a fun and beautiful trip to bora bora is meant to make people happy, get their wanderlust inspiration going, and brighten their day. i had no intentions of ignoring the fact that people are fighting for their right to stay in the US — it’s just a different topic entirely! this blog is about my life, not only about health and food. this is always a place for positivity and good vibes, because i believe that spreading that light in this time, more than ANY other time, is so, so important. x

Like, there are people fighting for their right to stay in the United States right now—who can’t afford basic self-care, let alone a trip to Bora Bora—and it would be nice if you did a few more self-care posts recognizing that not everyone has the same privilege.
