My rash is so similar to yours. For me it literally happened overnight. I also had a lot of gi issues prior. I don’t know why this happened. ( I spent the summer on a remote lake, I ate way too many cashews, l tried pesto for the first time, I had a big old silver filling drilled out, I started taking ubrelvy and I spent a few hours with a stray dog. ) It’s a lot! I’m taking 4 Xyzals, 2 Famotadine, 1 Hydroxyzine & 1 Singulair. At the start I did 10 days of steroid pills, which had no effect. I just got my first Xolair shot this week. Fingers crossed! The only thing I put on my face is cicalfate and sunscreen when necessary. I try to spend as much time in a dark, calm room as possible. Also, no alcohol, lots of water, no nuts. I use vaseline on my hands and lips. My face feels like it’s burning off. I can barely drive because my palms are affected. Hope your holistic route works. I’ll keep you updated if the Xolair works. Hugs to anyone going through this

Have you heard about it being linked to a MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY? I just read of a woman who was at her wits end - having tired numerous things - and then she took Magnesium Glycinate (more absorbable magnesium) and she it was like a miracle - completely gone in 2 weeks. Your body needs magnesium and B6 and Vitamin C to create an enzyme (DAO) that helps get rid of excess histamine. Also, Magnesium is good for nerve problems - and all the experts agree that stress is a factor. Since Magnesium is so hard to absorb and our bodies tend to throw it off, some people go to treatment centers for Magnesium Infusions (by IV)... this way they can give you much higher doses that you can absorb, and people say it makes them feel like a new person. I've read about these IV treatments - also with Vitamin C - I don't know who offers them... I guess natural treatment centers in your area. Anyway... just wanted to throw this info out there. I'm researching hives for a family member.

I have had a rash that started over 2 months ago, it looks just like yours. I can’t think ,focus or live how I want to. It started on my arm, then my leg, then both arms and legs. Now my thighs, stomach and back. This weekend it is now all those places and my chest and neck. Has anyone tried uvb narrowband light therapy? I am miserable and desperate! I tried everything listed above. Sleeping with ice packs helps but is no way to live. I have had steroid shots and oral steroids, colds baths and everything they say to do but it just wont go away and spreads a little every day. I made a tea tree oil and cocoa nut oil lotion and that soothes it a little. CalidryL clear helps a little also but all of these are short lived, like 15 minutes.

I've had issues with allergic dermatitis since I was a young child. Several years ago I broke out all over my body, after stopping steroids that I had been taking for over 5 years for polymyalgia rheumatica. I tried multiple at-home treatments but nothing worked. I finally broke down and went to a dermatologist in 2017 who put me through several therapies...citirizine, ranitidine, augmented betamethasone ointment, triamcinalone ointment, and methotrexate. I still continue to have flares and I'm currently having a stress-induced one. But I don't want to go back to steroids, because of the long-term side effects.

Jordan...just discovered you through YOM podcast. listened to your podcast with Allie Michelle, this happened to be the time when you were having your skin eruption issues. I came on your blog to tell you about Medical Medium. I have been following him since before he had books.. His protocol totally reversed my severe Epstein Barr, I had a relapse this last year due to stress and injury (FYI...viruses are smart) I immediately went into complete protocol...totally raw, all the supplements and within 2 months my lupus was reversed. As he says you don't have to stay raw after that. I have recently become into Ayurveda and it makes so much sense! But...the most important thing is the Zinc supplement he recommends!! I have been a skin expert for 12 years and I have helped thousands of clients with eczema psoriasis with this info of his. So glad you found him already!! and now more people know about him!

I encourage you to re-read the Medical Mediums first and second books. I have not found him to be “all raw” - yes the detox period of 28 days is - but beyond that he simply provides the structure and education on what foods can help your immediate health needs. He can help you identify the root source of your issues and then provides the guidance on the specific foods that will assist your body with the healing process. I can attest that a year ago I suffered up to 20 migraines a month and now I am down to just one a month. I do not eat all raw. (Wish I had the where-with-all to do that...). As you mentioned - he has an excellent source for his information. I encourage you to give him a second look.

Hi - I struggled with this for literal YEARS before learning about Topical Steroid Withdrawal / Red Skin Syndrome: https://itsan.org/what-is-rss/

Your symptoms seem really similar to this. Honestly it was like a lightbulb went off in my head when I found out about this. It is counterintuitive because topical steroids make it go away for a time, and then the rash seemingly comes back on its own...way later, so you don't think it's related to the steroid cream...but it is your body withdrawing because it can become addicted to these creams with as little as a few applications. I stopped using all steroid creams and it took me nine months to completely withdraw, but now my skin is perfect, it's like nothing ever happened, even when other people get rashes from being cold or super dry skin my skin is smooth and new. It's like it became stronger for having to heal itself on its own. I would urge you to look into TSW/TSA/RSS - there isn't much out there but there is a growing community of people who are realizing how reckless the prescription of topical steroids is and how serious the consequences can be for using them. I would urge you to stop using them because while they may provide short term relief, the long term consequences are really scary.
