Hello,
I’m histamine intolerant and struggling to implement MM protocols.
How do you substitute bananas and orange juice in heavy metal detox smoothie. With the histamine intolerance I can’t have mangoes, papayas , spinach , avocado, even lemon water makes me dizzy so had to ditch that too .

Hi there, thanks for letting me contact you. I wondered if you could tell me what you use on your face? I don't have a moisuriser but have flared sore skin I would love to calm. No idea where to start as it's histamine that makes me so sensitive to products on my face.
Thank you!

I’m so happy to see this!!! My daughter recently bought the medical medium book cleanse to heal and is raving about it, so I bought it.in the back I noticed it had a section about Lyme. I have had Lyme since 2009. I have done numerous treatments for it all herbal and natural. Eventually in the end that is what help me the most over the years it hasn’t bothered me too too bad, but in the beginning I couldn’t walk and I had Herxheimer reactions. I am not taking any thing for this currently no pain medicines not really any herbal things just trying to get through it. I am a CNA I work a lot and it’s hard for me to stay down for too long. I am currently home today, because my body everywhere at Bends, feels like that feeling when you hit your funny bone. I feel this feeling all over my joints also throb and feel so cold that they also feel like they’re burning. my hands were so sore and my joints are so swollen. I called out today and I have a been under my electric blanket all day. My energy level has been super low lately also. Usually when the weather changes I feel it immensely. I am 44 years old and I am tired of it. Back in 2011 I followed the Lyme diet pretty well, and was taking a bunch of supplements and of course when you start to feel better, you tend to slack off and then eventually stop. So today laying in bed I am scrolling through my phone to find a lame diet again and came across your blog. I also have my medical medium book open and I am about to make a list of foods I need to get. This makes me so happy I much rather do something natural and heal myself and take anything prescribed to me. It is frustrating though , because unless you have Lyme, nobody gets it my fiancé is very understanding, but sometimes doesn’t understand the type of diet I am on or the supplements I take, but he doesn’t have to I guess… Reading this has been very helpful to me and very inspiring that following all, this could give me some relief :) I also will be looking into supplements to take also thank you very much for all this information. I am excited to do this:)

i, Nicole, I am really interested in this but I am addicted to coffee and dairy It is so comforting to me that I am finding it hard to give up. Also about the salt, apparently you need some in your diet,,I went to the emergency room because I was having painful spasms(for over a month, every night) Turned out it was because I wasn't taking any salt in my diet. I really ado not want to go through that again. The food list looks good though. And I am taking an antihistamine;Cetirizine, twice a day because that particular antihistamine is supposed to work on Lyme disease.

Hey Jordan, thanks for this blogpost!! I was wondering, you say "But if you are sick, and you are going to follow these protocols, it is worth sticking to them. It can take 1-2 years to reverse the symptoms of severe Lyme disease, and of course all cases are different. I am crossing my fingers for increased energy and reduced inflammation."
How did you manage with eating out etc.?
I have similar Lyme Symptoms with extreme exhaustion, and I find it so hard so find the motivation when I am already feeling bad everyday, and don't seem to find what is causing it, to also watch very carefully what I'm eating.

Hey Jordan and Ashley,
My husband has found that he needs natural nitrates, which are converted in the body to nitrous oxide (NO), to help his asthma. We were really astounded to find this out...the conventional medicine line is that they will make asthma worse, but for him it was completely opposite. He started taking Neo40, then switched to l-citrulline because we avoid stevia (inflammatory for us both). So...I am not sure that the nitrates in organic celery, beets, etc. are harmful for everyone...
