Thank you for sharing your truth! For me, finding a balance between prescriptions and holistic healing tools is what worked. I have ADHD and noted that once I changed my diet to a plant based, gluten free diet, my symptoms improved. But as a busy college student, it still wasn't enough so I could focus and tackle assignments. I'm on vvyanse to manage my ADHD and I've found it better than adderall, Vvyanse lasts 12 hours and is much "smoother" if you will, I don't have mood swings like I did with long release adderall.

Oh, and same to you! SO inspired and proud! But to be honest, I feel so confused about the conversation you had with Dave Asprey. I know he has a lot of opinions about the plant based diet but I have to say that whenever I have tried to do what other people say is right my body acts out. I feel like after almost seven years vegan/off and on raw/off and on eating strictly clean and sometimes eating all the things I have grown to understand which things serve me the best. And I can never question that because it's so apparent when I go off my regime. It would be SO interesting to hear your thoughts on this and if you took his many advice with ghee etc. and if so, how did it feel? I am literally scared of dairy and I would probably freak out if I had to eat meat... It just doesn't feel healthy. For me. I mean, for someone who resonates with it - of course, they should go for it. But I just don't think I can...

I really loved this. I was on birth control 2019 and the beginning of 2020 because of PCOS and the severe acne I had been suffering from because of it. One day in March 2020 I got the WORST inflammation in my stomach with fever and all the things. The next day I decided to go on a juice fast, stop all the pills and then continue with celery juice every morning and doing intermittent fasting. It was quite the week... but as I continued with my new routine I began healing and up until this day (almost one year later) I only get some acne during that time of the month (if any at all) which I consider normal. I am also getting my period rather regularly. I am so thankful and I'm never going on the pill ever again (and the same goes for other pills if they are not absolutely necessary for some reason). Plants DO heal! <3
