YEP, feel this so much. it is so important and healthy to have hobbies outside of what we share on IG. something someone said to me once that really resonated was "we did not come here to be reporters, we came here to live our lives." and it's funny because all we really do is report on the lives we live?! food for thought. with you on it alllll. I am really excited to speak more openly on the blog itself because it feels like the better and safer place to do so. we got this mama. so happy you are here!! ILY!

Found myself really hoping it was all gone for good yesterday, which opened my eyes to my own feelings about SM. Between scrolling addiction, censorship, and all of the division and arguing I’m really ready for something new. I love following certain people (like you!), but I’m also realizing that I can stay connected via websites and newsletters. I miss having hobbies for myself without having to share a play by play with the world. It gave me sooo many feelings yesterday realizing I truly didn’t know what to do with so much free time- what areas of my life am I inadvertently neglecting by giving too much energy to SM? AND, as someone trying to grow a small business, I’m feeling deeply called to look outside of SM for avenues of growth. I feel like Spirit is really calling us to move in a new direction. Open to all possibilities and curious for what’s next!
Also- I’ve noticed my engagement dropped by about 75% (story views & post reach too) in the last three weeks from LIKING certain posts, just like you.

Buuut it feels like it’s getting worse & will continue. It’s so hard when people of influence also feel they can’t speak truly. Personally I’m so upset about the masks because of the research I’ve done on how unhealthy they are to breath in & bacteria inducing from Co2. And to not feel we can have open convos & that mandates are being enforced feels so scary to not be able to talk about it. Which is why I do. It’s always the first phases of mentality is to feel silenced. So ya thanks for sharing cause with really feel angry & scared like I need to move somewhere soon. Lol hashtag microblog comment lol but look what this said in order for me to even comment here lol aaaaaah!

Yes girl! I am totally with you. I deleted my Facebook and Instagram in July of 2020 because I was sick of the censorship. Personally for me I enjoy life a lot better without the nonsense. I was constantly in a trap of comparison with how many likes and followers others had cause my account was getting censored. Anyway, Love the blog, keep them up 🙂

yess Jordan!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend at your cousins wedding :) You looked beautiful! and your bump is so cute. Also I was at work today when I noticed the IG shut down and I just knew there had to be more to it. I actually thought of you because I remember listening to one of your podcasts where you or a guest mentioned something about social media shut downs and the link they might have to the cosmos. Anyways, I totally feel the same way about social media. There’s always pros and cons to things, but recently I just have noticed the shift on there and it can feel really off to me. I’ve actually deleted IG multiple times over the past months for a few days at a time and I can’t seem to quit the addiction but I’m trying to have more control over it!
