OMG, I BET! Girl, that is massive inspiration for me. Even with just practice teaching yoga a few times a week right now I find it harder than usual to have the energy to get in the gym or into the studio for my own workouts. I feel like leading a class takes so much energy and so much of *you* that it can be incredibly hard to motivate yourself to then TAKE a class. That's super inspiring to hear that your students bring you motivation -- watching them push hard making you want to as well! I have had the same experience watching my students (and my mentor's students, mostly) take class -- they work so hard, they are so diligent and so strong... it makes me want to push myself as hard as they do. AND it makes me think "okay they are so lucky they are taking time out of their day to do this and BE HERE... I should do the same, because it truly is a privilege we take advantage for" kinda thoughts. So cool to think about!! I'll have to take your OTF class one day!!! Xo

Love the last bit about dedicating your workout to someone who can't; I find myself doing that at the gym often. I also think of my future self and saying: "okay now, think of yourself at 85: you're not going to be able to sprint down the straightaway then like you can now. There will be days when you want to so badly but you physically won't be able to: so do it now and embrace that you can." Great post

LOVED this post so so much - and THANK YOU for the shout-out! I think the part that resonated the most with me was, "every time you work out, do it with intention". I remind myself of this anytime I find myself looking at the clock or dreading an upcoming push, or don't want to get out the door to run, etc. Last week at Soul, the instructor echoed the same thought you wrote above: "How lucky are we that we GET to do this?" I haven't stopped thinking about it since. So, so true. You're beyond inspiring lady - this post alone makes me want to go sweat! xx
